First Musical Fan convention to take place later this year

It has been announced that Musical Con, the UK's first musical theatre fan convention will take place at the ExCel London on 22-23 October.


Visitors will have the chance to meet the stars and learn from the pros, with events including cosplay competitions, fan meet ups and much more.


Many West End names will be in attendance, with more to announced in the coming weeks.


Cast announced for Into The Woods at the Theatre Royal Bath

Casting has been announced for the revival of Into The Woods which runs at the Theatre Royal Bath between 17 August and 10 September.


Audrey Brisson will star as Cinderella, with Julian Bleach as Mysterious Man, Nicola Hughes as the Witch, Rhashan Stone as the Baker, Alex Young as the Baker's Wife, Barney Wilkinson as Jack, Gillian Bevan as Jack's mother, Nathanael Campbell as the Wolf/the Prince, Maria Conneely as Repunzel, Lauren Conroy as Little Red Riding Hood, Phoebe Fildes as Lucinda, Samuel Holmes as the steward, Charlotte Jaconelli as Florinda and Henry Jenkinson as Prince.


Rachelle Ann Go to reprise her role of Fantine

It has been confirmed that Rachelle Ann Go is set to reprise her role of Fantine in the UK Tour after playing the role in the West End production and on the Asian tour.


Ann Go will take over the role from 16 May


Tour dates announced for parody musical Unfortunate


Unfortunate, a parody musical telling the untold story of Ursula the sea witch is to run at the Underbelly Festival Earl's Court from 21 June to 16 and this week casting has been announced.


Elliotte Williams-N'Dure will play the title of Ursula, with Miracle Chance as Ariel, Jack Gray as Scuttle, Jamie Mawson as Eric, Allie Munro as Sebastian and George Whitty as Triton.


Dates confirmed for premier of Tom, Dick and Harry

Dates have been confirmed this week for the world premiere of new play Tom, Dick and Harry, inspired by the true story behind the daring escape from Stalag Left III during the Second World War.


The show will have its premiere at the New Vic Theatre, running from 10 June to 9 July. It will then transfer to the Alexandra Palace running 26 July to 28 August.
