Fundraiser launched for performer Melle Stewart after stroke
A fundraiser has been set up for performer Melle Stewart, who has starred in shows such as Assassins and Kiss Me Kate, after she suffered a life threatening stroke.
She spent three weeks in a coma after suffering the stroke which caused her to lose all movement on her right hand side as well as her ability to speak. Her partner Ben Lewis, also a performer, has set up a fundraiser with Melle to aid her recovery in regards to physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, as well as psychological therapy and modifications to their home.
Casting announced for the UK and Ireland tour of Jersey Boys
Casting has been announced for the upcoming UK Tour of hit musical Jersey Boys which kicks off next month and tours through to April 2023.
Michael Pickering and Lewis Griffiths return to the production as Frankie Valli and Nick Massi respectively with Blair Gibson as Bob Gaudio and Dalton Wood as Tommy DeVito. The role of Frankie Valli will be played by Luke Suri.
The cast is completed by Dougie Carter as Hank Majewski, Emma Crossley as Mary Delgado, Jordan James as Gyp DeCarlo, Norton James as Norm Waxman, Michael Levi as Bob Crewe, George Salmon as Joe Pesci, Daisy Steere as Francine, Damien Winchester as Barry Belson and Ellie Seaton as Lorraine. The swings are Ryan Carter-Wilson, Tom O’Brien, Nathan Routledge and Amy West.
West End Shows to perform at the Royal Variety show
It has been announced that the casts of Moulin Rouge and Matilda the Musical will be performing at this years Royal Variety Show
The event which will be hosted by Alan Carr will also feature a performance from The Greatest Showman star Keala Settle

Miss Saigon is coming to Netflix
The 25th-anniversary special performance of Miss Saigon is headed for Netflix UK,
Adding the record-breaking WhatsOnStage Award-winning musical to its “Coming Soon” section, the piece will be available from 16 November.
The West End production stars Eva Noblezada, Alistair Brammer, Jon Jon Briones and Rachelle Ann Go.
New casting announced for Six
New casting has been announced for the west end production of Six, with the new cast joining the show from 16 November.
Amy Di Bartolomeo will play Catherine of Aragon with Amanda Lindgren as Anne Boleyn, Claudia Kariuki as Jane Seymour, Dionna Ward-Anderson as Anna of Cleves, Tsemaye Bob-Egbe as Katherine Howard and Meesha Turner as Katherine Parr.
